Zhi brings a sincere appreciation for the resilience of the body and mind. Based on her experience in both inpatient and outpatient environments, she is keenly aware of the mind-body receptiveness to rehabilitation, and she brings a passionate commitment to each therapeutic treatment. Zhi is a graduate of Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Toronto, and is experienced working as an Occupational/Physical Therapy Assistant (OTA/PTA).
In the course of her Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) education, Zhi has worked with people who have neurological conditions, post-surgical scar tissue, and pregnant individuals. Kristy is more than just her hands! Utilizing a variety of traditional Swedish techniques — the cornerstone for all Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) — to target the issues in your tissues, while ensuring you leave feeling deeply relaxed.
Kristy takes a holistic approach to healing, viewing every treatment through a biopsychosocial lens. She understands that well-being is shaped by a combination of biological, psychological, and socio-environmental factors, and she tailors each treatment plan to address the whole person in context.
When she's not working her magic as a massage therapist, Kristy can be found in the gym, volunteering at the Toronto Humane Society, exploring the great outdoors, or curating award-winning massage playlists.
Kristy holds an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy from Centennial College and is a proud member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario. She practices in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
